Sorry that I have not been keeping up on my blog. To busy with snow removal, grooming and playing in our wonderful early snow. Trails were used hard over the holidays but remain in excellent condition!! Today it is suppost to be windy and cold. Weekend warmup is in the forecast. Lots of precipatation expected for next week. Still dont know if rain or snow. Cross Country Cruisers groomed 24/7 over the holidays with only 2 machines. I think the trails were excellent with all the traffic. Safe Rideing Jon

Good Morning and marry Christmas. Hopefully we will get the snow in the forecast for Sat. (1-4inches) Trails suffering from a lack of snow. Trail and road intersections are poor, loose gravel and dirt showing. Staying hopefull! Ride safe Jon

Fri Dec 14 2007 Trails are open and opening around us. Lincoln co is opening today at 12:00 Noon. (Only Northern Half) We still need more snow to make things realy nice. No snow in forecast untill thursday. Hopefuly we get a pile for Christmas week! Safe rideing Jon

Welcome to a new snow season!! Trails open today 12/12/07 @ noon. I have not been on our trails yet this year. I think we are a little short of snow. (Aprox 6.5") To day it is sunny and cold. It is 12:00 noon and 16deg. Ride Safe I will try and keep you posted Jon

Well the snow is just about gone and a short snowmobile season has ended. I would like to thank all the people that came up and rode this winter. Cold is the buzz word of the day. Last nite -14 deg today highs in the teens. Chance of 1-3" of snow. Trail are in excellent condition! Currently Sunny & light snow 9 deg gusty winds. Snowmobile trails are in excellent condition!!! I think the best of the year. If you have any winter vacation leftover I would use it this week. I will keep you posted on trail conditions this week. Safe riding Jon

Sorry for not keeping up with things. Good news I had to plow snow for two days. Lots more snow on the way. Did not groom trails lastnite went riding instead. A group of us went into the U.P. we rode from Rockland to Copper Harbor (220miles) . Excellent ride & excellent weather. Hopefully with our next storm the trails around here will be in the best shape of the year! The forecasters are calling for 4" to 16"!!! lets hope for the most. Safe Riding Jon

Still no good forcast on the amount of snow for Sat. forcasters predicting 1" - 12" no one has pinpointed the amount. Presently I would say the trails are unrideable!! I will keep you posted later today or tomorrow on the amount. Safe riding Jon

I am posting late tonite because the forcasters are calling for snow. I was trying to waite until they had an amount. Yesterdays 50deg temps wiped out what was left of our trails in the open and around town. Now we need all the snow we can get to end the year with a bang!! Safe riding Jon.

+20 deg forecast for mid 30s one extream to another. Have not rode in two weeks due to conditions around town. I seen the groomer out on the bearskin lastnite. They are calling for drizzle and lite snow for today. Friday they are predicting rain changeing to snow. Lets hope it is all snow!!! I will keep you posted. Safe riding Jon

Warming up temp -9 chillfactor is -20 feels balmy. Groomed last nite, snow is at a short supply trails still look ok. The north end of the Bearskin by the Thursty Whale is Ice and lite dirt covered. Do not forget Cruiser Fest on Lake Minocqua this weekend. Safe riding Jon

BURRRRR!!! -20 Temp chill factor -35 to -40 not good riding weather. Did not brave the elements this weekend but there were several riders that did. They told me trails were good to ok depending on the terrain they were riding in. It is suppost to warm up this week high around 10 to 15 by mid week. NO SNOW in forcast. Safe riding Jon

Sorry no blogg yesterday. I went out grooming Tuesday nite. Trails are in ok condition we keep getting 1-2" of lake effect snow every nite. The cold weather makes the trails setup real nice after grooming. The Bearskin trail still has small stones showing through. In Minocqua the Bearskin is short on snow. We are going to have a cold weekend comming up. Hopefully we will get more lake effect snow. Safe riding Jon.

Good morning about a 1/2inch of new snow lastnite. Cold 1deg this morning high today 13 we are not loosing any snow! U.P. got aprox 16 inches scence Friday. They are reporting the best riding of the year!! We still need more snow before conditions improve. Safe riding Jon

LET IT SNOW!!! Last nite 3" and currently snowing lightly. Groomers will go out tonite and pan down new snow. This is my first blog and i hope to expand with Mich. snow report. I am going to try and link this to my web site. Thanks Jon
